Tunemate

Tunemate is an interactive modular product designed for young piano learners, offering an innovative piano practice experience. The design remains integrated with the physical piano and aims to boost practice motivation and reduce the tedium of solo practice by implementing a level system and matching players for remote ensemble playing.

User Interview & Personal

During the research phase, interviews were conducted with children learning to play the piano. The aim was to grasp their experiences in piano learning, their present practice attitudes, and the challenges they face.

Mode Switch

Tunemate features an embedded hand motion capture camera that promptly corrects users' mistakes during solo practice mode. In addition, it enables real-time visualization of finger movements in two-player mode.
